Abundant

This is a surf family at the end of their surf session in Lahaina on Maui, Hawaii. The same Lahaina that was devastated and burnt in the wildfires. This photograph is a few months before it when it stood intact. I loved this town deeply which makes me deeply love this image. It is one of my first photographs I took while in Maui. This surfer family was ending their session at sunset, collecting their belongings while the sprinklers were on. I was outside the Lahaina Inn, a historic hotel (now gone), a beautiful girl sped by me on a Vespa. I turned around after the Vespa sped by and there stood this family winding down their surf session for the day.
